After 280,000 photos captured by motion detection, Dr. Richard O’Connor, finally captured five photos of bizarre flying objects through the skies of Montana last November 4.

“Basically what you see is a very symmetrical, smooth and reflective surface that appears to have his own light source,” he said.

O’Connor deeply believes in UFOs. He said that maybe this strong belief is due to his friendship with a man who claimed to have seen a UFO when he was a child. His name is Jesse Marcel Jr., a longtime doctor in Helena and the two have been friends for more than 25 years.

Back in 1947, Marcel recalls his father, Maj. Jesse Marcel sent by his base commander to investigate a UFO crash on a ranch outside of Roswell Army Air Field. His father loaded some of the wreckage into his own vehicle and drove it home to show the 10 year old Jesse Jr.

In the 70’s Marcel Sr. and his son began speaking about what they had seen although those who were at the crash site were sworn to secrecy.

O’Connor, forwarded his photos of UFO captured in Montana to NUFORC, which were there for a few weeks and then came a query to them from the Tribune.

NUFORC head Peter Davenport then forwarded the photos to “a skilled photo-analyst in his aim to try to extract more information about the object and scrutinize the thing.

“Bottom line, I think the images are real, but remain a mystery,” the photo analyst wrote. “I suspect the lights in the first and last photos are sun reflections off of something rather than any propulsion system.”

Another UFO research organization wrote, “This photo is an interesting one. The colors of the object resembles the surrounding blue sky and clouds. This would naturally occur with highly reflective silver objects. The fact it was 1/20 second frame rules out balloons or other man-made objects. It also indicates the objects decelerated and accelerated and held position for just one frame, as there’s no elongated motion line that would have occurred if the velocity was constant.”

In his objective to let people know that UFOs are real, O’Connor plans to meet various experts to analyze the photos to prove his theory. He stated that these phenomena deserve to be funded as unbiased scientific study.

O’Connor understands the skepticism of others but since he is interested in the truth, he thinks that it is already part of the deal.
